About project
The bust was the word that many of us said when Mark exploded the frozen roses above the table for the desert.
When everything kicked off, everyone who was there thought that seduction is like eating with their hands in gloves. You should have put your fingers into the pumpkin pulp. Initiation. Perplexity. And then… off we go!
The bust was the word that many of us said when Mark exploded the frozen roses above the table for the desert. The table was golden.
This is life for me. Not sex, but love. And even I would call it — making love. Mark arrived on my call like a lover. That’s all because of Smart Forum. We always observe some kind of miracles there.
There we exchange what is important for us and obtain a wave of love and support for the pain we went through ourselves. Business is based on challanges. If we think of the Maslow pyramid, where the comfort zone is the peak and you left it. Not just up, but into space. And it brings reset, reconstruction of your space. You can’t take your cozy room with you into the spaceship.
Next year we — women, will learn how to invest. Nobody takes that seriously, especially women themselves. We are speaking about ordinary women. Who do not believe in themselves and everybody else follows them in that too. We will begin by investing in art.
You can’t delegate money, power, decisions according to the thought — 'this won’t be me'. We can do a lot, on all levels and jump from one to another like in a game.
We were sharing a table with women, who have not had that fear for a long time. Here, art is about the talent and the thought that we shall present ourselves and our works. We should break the concept of 'false modesty'.

Mark Tov is an Israel-based chef, who turns a cozy gathering or a dinner party into a remarkable performance. While gaining his first degree in film and TV administration, he has always been about food and cooking. Adelina Amlinsky
Adelina Amlinsky is an inspirer, speaker and founder of Smart Forum Women. She is also a Creative/Art Director of her own jewelry brand Adelina&1001.
Her inspiration is art - in means of creativity and living life. As a creative, she has a vulnerable and tender soul. Definitely Adelina is a person who can stand up for herself, even in the most extreme situations and also take care of those she loves and those who are important to her.
Smart Forum Women was founded by Adelina Amlinsky and it is a female community, where women meet to support each other in life and business. They are creating a family of active, bold and reliable people. Let's face it, that nowadays Female Power is a strong wave! Not just from the realm of business but also women in the art world miss the support thez deserve and because of this their art has been undervalued.
Hopefully, now that we are living in a new time, where gender doesn't bind to limits in art, business or love. So, the Smart Forum Dinner is all about this. It's a new supporting space, where women of art get to know each other.

Margret Eicher and Nina Römer at Smart & Art Dinner
The first two artists, Margret Eicher and Nina Römer that were invited to exhibit on the occasion of Smart & Art Dinner that took place early this January are Both based in Berlin. They presented their recent works in a dynamic and prolific dialogue with each other. Questioning and examining the influence of image, in particular of the digital image, on our perception. Giving us the opportunity to immerse in a utopian and carnivalesque world on the other hand.

Marget Eicher, born in 1955 in Viersen (West Germany), graduated from the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. Her practice is inspired by digital media, especially digital photography, that took a serious step forward in the last decades and vehemently entered into our everyday life. The highlight of Margert Eicher's presentation was a largescale tapestry Nach der Jagd (engl. After the Hunt) - a digital print on a Jacguard tapestry, combining motives from 19th century landscape paintings with the pop culture of our time. By collaging these two sceneries from different epochs of our past and present Margert Eicher creates an image that is a product of our imagination – a non-existent world, a utopia drawn on reality. According to the artist the digital image that we are surrounded by almost non-stop has a huge impact not only on our perception of the world but also influences the decision-making processes and tricks us into certain beliefs about what we see. In addition, her works on paper – that on the first sight appear to be water colours – enhance the illusion of being something that it is not. It is almost impossible to distinguish with the naked eye that the water colours, titled Virtual V.I.P.s Digitale, portraits of famous movie characters or cartoon heroes (e.g. Superman) are in fact digital prints. By playing this trick on us the artist challenges our viewing habits.

Nina Römer, born 1978 in Moscow, also graduated from the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf where she met her partner Torsten Römer. The couple started working together as an artist duo Römer + Römer during their time at the Kunstakademie and has been working together for more than twenty years now. The artistic duo has worked in different media from painting to performance art. In this exhibition the focus relied on works from their Burning Man series, inspired by the world-famous festival Burning Man - an event held annually in the western United States at Black Rock City, a temporary city erected in the Black Rock Desert of northwest Nevada. Drawing on their personal archive of digital photography Römer + Römer create pointillistic oil paintings that allow the viewer an intimate gaze into the festivities. Always set in the nighttime the paintings could not be richer in colours. As if we were looking though a kaleidoscope. Römer + Römer travel to carnivals and festivals around the planet, become part of the community for their research. These gatherings of people are limited in time and have a certain dramaturgy – a theatrical world separated from the everyday life, a utopia created within our reality that emerges and disappears. For example, in Rapt in Contemplation of the Burn or The Shrine of La Santisima Muerte one can only guess what is actually depicted and cannot help but be absorbed by the atmosphere of the festival. What do we actually see and are able to recognize in the paintings? People strolling around, a construction under fire that might or might not have been some sort of a temple or sanctuary, a digital clock, a neon light cage – all sopped with electric lights and bright colours. Multiple layers of colour, rich in contrast, the pointillistic application of oil paint on canvas are significant for their practice creating a mirage-like image.
Both positions have a unique artistic approach and visual language. While Margret Eicher builds a discussion platform for the viewer from where one can examine their own perception somewhere on the threshold between self-presentation, theatricality and what is commonly called reality, Römer + Römer invite us to become part of the illusion, enter the cultural cosmos of temporary created communities and dare a step into this fata morgana.
